The
word Bhote means from Tibet; from where the Bhotekoshi
flows down. Few hours driving takes you to close to
the border of Tibet, the starting point of the rafting
and kayaking down to the river.
Surrounding of the Bhotekoshi is of giant rock slops
in both side which makes the narrow gorges and river
bed. On the bottom of the gorge the luminous blue water
generates continuous white rapids as a real challenge
and thrill for the rafters and kayakers.
World's second highest bungy jumping station is here
near the rafting point of Bhotekoshi. If you dare extra
experience of adventure you can jump down to the 500
ft strait down to the gorge from the bridge with the
help of bungy rope.
The river trip ends down near the hydro dam at Barabise
from where the Bhotekoshi turns in to Sunkoshi.
