Western Nepal is less developed and forbidden countryside. The modern amenities like roads, motors, electricity or telephone is yet a dream of the locals here. The river Karnali arises from China, Western Tibet and stretches this most forbidden countryside of Nepal. Karnali is the longest river of Nepal that offers 6-7 full days in the river for paddling. The river trip here offers you every day a challenge and different feeling. Karnali offers equally challenge even in lower water season. The trip begins after a long drive of 1 and half day from country capital Kathmandu. Most of the river side is covered by the sub-tropical and tropical jungles. Settlement and houses are far from the river except in lower parts of the river.

Being isolated from polluted human activities you are close to observing the nature, wildlife and real water adventure. The lower section of the river has less rapids as it is mostly flat but the landscape and more of villages and people offer you to learn some of Nepalese culture and lifestyle.

The river trip ends at one of the best Wildlife reserve at Bardiya National Park. You can extend 3-4 days of wildlife tour here for extraordinary flavour in your adventure.
