Marshyangdi River arises in the northern Himalayas of Annapurna and drains its trail down through the fascinating Manang valley and charming villages along the both sides. Manang valley is the ancient settlement of Tibetan migrant people crossed the Himalayas and came to Nepal and settled there. It's also the most popular trekking trail crossing over the Annapurna round.

The rafting starting point of Marshyangdi is right at the gate way to this fascinating trekking trail at Ngadi village. Marshyangdi is one of the most demanding trip that rapids here are all connected one after another; so the river is named as ragging river.

Along the challenge of tremendous rapids, narrow channels and back drops this is the real exhilarating adventure in the river. Superb view of mountains behind of the Manaslu and Annapurna and green hills around makes this trip a dream of white water lovers. Few braves who have paddled here rate this trip as the best they ever done else where in the world.
