Mount Everest - Mount Everest standing at a height of 8,850 m above sea level is the highest peak in the world. It covers the frontiers of Tibet, Nepal and north of India. Mount Everest named after Sir George Everest is also known as Sagarmatha in Nepal and Quomolongma in Tibet.
Karakoram – Karakoram or K2 is the second highest mountain peak in the world standing at a height of 8,611m. The mountain is very difficult to climb and has the 2nd highest fatality rate among those who attempt to climb it.
Kanchenjunga –It is the third highest mountain peak of the world standing at an altitude of 8, 586m. Kanchenjunga covers around 7000 sq km on the Sikkim and Nepal border and boasts of five peaks of which the highest peak is 8,586m.
Nanga Parbat – Nanga Parbat or naked mountain is the 9th highest mountain standing at an altitude of about 8,126m above sea level. Located in the regions of Baldistan, Korakoram Range, Gilgit, Pakistan, Nanga Parbat Mountain has such sharp edges that it cannot hold much of snow.
Annapurna - Located in central Nepal Himalayas at an altitude of 8,091m above sea level, Annapurna is the 10th highest mountain in the world. The entire Annapurna range stretches from west to east consisting of major peaks like Annapurna South Face, Gang, Gangapurna, Annapurna III, Annapurna IV Annapurna II and Annapurna I.
