Tawang Galden Namgyal Lhatse – For the Monpas, Tawang Galden Namgyal Lhatse is the spiritual center of the universe. It is also famously known as Tawang Monastery. Founded by Mera Lama, the monastery took about forty years to complete. Every year the monastery celebrates Dungyur and Torgya which is the major religious festivals of the Monpas.

Tawang Scenic Drive – The entire drive till Tawang passes through the world’s second highest pass, the Sela Pass. The pass features a high altitude lake having crystal blue waters with its both sides being decked with miles of rhododendrons.

Tawang Library – The library housing hundreds of thousands of block-printed commentaries and treatises on the subject of Mahayana Buddhism serves as a valuable resource for Buddhist scholars in the region.

Pankang Teng Tso Lake - It is one of the most beautiful lakes located just 17 km from Tawang, boasting of exquisite natural locales with eye catching vistas. The Sangetser and Banggachang Lakes also are major tourist attractions in Tawang.
