If you are in Pokhara its well worth getting out of the city and exploring the surrounding attractions for a day and if you're not trekking this is definitely the best way to get some great views of the Annapurna Range. Our day starts with a brisk and steep hour long hike up to the World Peace Pagoda from where you have excellent views of the surrounding mountains and Phewa lake below you. After a rest and a stop for lunch we will take another hike to Mahendra Gupha and Chamere Gufa which are Pokhara's most famous bat caves. Getting back to Pokhara we will take a short drive to David's Falls a small waterfall just outside town and the adjacent Gupteswar Gupha, a sacred Hindu cave that holds a perfectly shaped phallic symbol of Lord Shiva. The final stop will be the Old Bazaar just 4 km outside of Pokhara where you can end the day strolling between the colorful wares of traditional merchants.
